New York Trip
Every fall, UGA’s AMA Chapter takes a trip to New York City to visit agencies and companies within the marketing field to help give students a taste of the real-world in the city that never sleeps. Companies that we’ve toured in the past include: Facebook, Buzzfeed, Publicis, Twitter, TED, and more. Each trip includes an Alumni dinner that allows students to mix and mingle with UGA Alumni in NYC, there’s also the chance to explore the city before heading back down south.
Weekly Meetings
Each week, AMA hosts meetings with special guest speakers in the marketing field. These industry professionals often come to give advice, inform us about their company or agency, and answer questions. This year, we have had guests from Coca-Cola, TTI, The Atlanta Hawks, and more! Socials
In addition to our meetings and networking opportunities, we host social events to foster a community within AMA at UGA. One example of a fun social we held this year was a Trivia Night at Mellow Mushroom!
